Archiving Policy

PHI IUSTITIA: Journal of Law and Multidisciplinary Studies uses a digital archiving system through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, supported by the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). All journal content is permanently archived to ensure long-term accessibility, even in the event the journal ceases publication or is no longer actively maintained.

Legal Deposit

In accordance with Indonesian Law No. 4 of 1990 concerning the Mandatory Deposit of Printed and Recorded Works, PHI IUSTITIA submits copies of its published content to the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (Perpustakaan Nasional RI) and the relevant regional library, in addition to digital preservation through OJS/PKP PN.

Permanent Identifiers

Every published article is assigned a persistent Digital Object Identifier (DOI), ensuring that the article remains permanently locatable and citable regardless of future changes to the journal's website or hosting infrastructure.

Continued Access Guarantee

Should PHI IUSTITIA cease publication for any reason, all previously published content will remain permanently accessible through the PKP Preservation Network and/or other archiving partners, in accordance with the principle of continued access for scholarly record integrity.

Archiving of Corrections and Retractions

Articles subject to correction (erratum/corrigendum) or retraction, as set out in the Publication Ethics policy, remain permanently accessible in the archive together with a clear notice explaining the correction or retraction. The original article is never removed from the scholarly record.

Relationship to Author Self-Archiving Rights

This archiving policy operates independently of, and in addition to, the author self-archiving rights (Green Open Access) set out in the Copyright and License Statement, under which authors may deposit their own copies of the work in institutional repositories or academic networks.
